Christ Church Cathedral will be transformed into a horticultural wonderland for this weekend's inaugural Dublin Garden Festival.

The festival, which runs from Friday to Sunday, will include garden displays from some of Ireland's most decorated green-fingered designers including TV personality Diarmuid Gavin and Chelsea Flower Show medallist Christopher White.

White’s award-winning creation, entitled Twisted and Tangled, will be displayed inside the historic cathedral in an event that will also include choral recitals, an artisan food tent and a petting zoo.

“This weekend, Christ Church will truly be transformed into a floral wonderland for the inaugural Dublin Garden Festival. We are looking forward to welcoming many visitors through the doors of Dublin’s oldest cathedral, to witness a unique event in the heart of the city centre,” said Dean of Christ Church Dermot P.M. Dunne.
