The family of a missing student have thanked gardaí and teams of volunteer helpers for their search efforts.
Three days of searches for Jason McNulty (25) ended on Saturday when a body was found on the coastline at Roscam in Galway, not far from where he was last seen.
Mr McNulty, originally from Swinford, Co Mayo, but living in Castlebar more recently, had been socialising with friends when he went missing.
The student of Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology was last seen on Wednesday leaving the Connacht Hotel, close to Renmore, Galway.
He had travelled to the city with a group of friends and had been taking part in the unofficial Rag Week activities at the time of his disappearance.
A spokesperson said that the family of the young man had expressed their gratitude to all who had taken part on the search for him.
