Get the sun cream out as temperatures expected to reach 29 degrees tomorrow

Tomorrow may be the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures predictee to climb as high as 29 degrees.

Temperatures have gradually increased in the recent days. Yesterday’s temperatures peaked at 26 degrees and today are expected to reach 28 degrees.

Met Éireann meteorologist Evelyn Cusack says it will be sunny and warm all around the country.

"West coast beaches may be marginally warmer than east coast beaches, but generally it will be warm, dry and sunny all over Ireland, " she said. "There might be some sea fog by some parts of the coast."

Ms Cusack said it is important that people who are out in the sun wear sun cream, especially at high noon when the sun is at its strongest.
