Three men arrested after drugs worth €4m seized in Dublin

Sawn off-shotgun, semi-automatic pistol, cash counting machine also seized

Three men have been arrested after cannabis and heroin with an estimated street value of €4 million were seized in Dublin.

The three men, arrested on Monday evening, were aged 39, 44 and 46. Two of the men were from the south inner city, while the third was from Crumlin.

A sawn off-shotgun, a semi-automatic pistol, drug paraphernalia, a vacuum packing machine, a cash counting machine and stun guns were also seized.

Members of the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau carried out the search on Ballyfermot Parade, supported by the Special Task Force, as part of an ongoing operation.

The men remain in custody at Clondalkin and Ballyfermot Garda stations under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
