Three people were being questioned by police last night in connection with the death of a fisherman following an attack in Co Down on Tuesday.
Stefan Zait (45), who was originally from Romania, was assaulted in Ardglass just before 11am on Tuesday. He died on Thursday.
A 50-year-old man and 53-year-old woman were arrested in the Ardglass area on Friday by members of the PSNI and remained in custody last night.
A 20-year-old man who was arrested on Wednesday night remains in police custody, a PSNI spokesman said.
A 40-year-old woman who was arrested on Thursday night in relation to the matter has been released unconditionally. A 23-year-old man held over the matter has been released on bail pending further police inquiries.
Police Service of Northern Ireland Detective Chief Inspector Eamonn Corrigan said Mr Zait died from serious head injuries sustained during a "brutal and senseless attack" in daylight hours.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses, anyone with dashcam footage or anyone with any information to contact them. –PA
