Site off Malahide Road searched for man missing for 12 years

Search begins on grounds of Belcamp House for Patrick Lawlor missing since December 2004

Gardaí have begun to search the grounds of the now derelict Belcamp House off the Malahide Road in Dublin in connection with the disappearance of a man twelve years ago.

Patrick Lawlor from Darndale in Coolock was 24-years-old when he was reported missing on December 16th, 2004. He was last seen leaving his family home at 6.30am that morning.

Initial site preparation works started on Saturday morning and gardaí say the search is expected to last up to three weeks.
