More than €2m worth of cannabis seized in Dublin

Approximately 100kg of drug was contained in parcels

More than €2 million worth of cannabis was seized in Dublin on Friday evening.

The drugs were found by gardaí and Revenue officers who examined parcels at a premises.

Approximately 100kg of herbal cannabis was found, which has an estimated value of more than €2 million.

The seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
