A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford.

The incident occurred on a road in Ballinesker, Curracloe, shortly before 11am on Tuesday.

There were two men in the vehicle at the time of the incident. The men, both in their 20s, were taken to Wexford General Hospital following the crash.

One of the men, the driver of the vehicle, has since been pronounced dead. The other man is believed to be in a serious condition.

Garda forensic collision investigators have examined the scene of the incident.
