A man in his 60s died after he was crushed by an articulated trailer at Dublin Port.
The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is investigating the death of the man after the incident on Thursday afternoon. It is understood the victim was crushed by an articulated trailer that was being loaded onto a ship at about 1.30pm.
The man was taken to the Mater Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardaí from Store Street are investigating the incident while the HSA is carrying out a separate investigation into the death.
