The High Court has granted bail to a Dublin man charged with murdering a teenager who was in State care more than five years ago.
Trevor Noone, with an address at Whitestown Avenue, Blanchardstown, is charged with murdering 17-year-old Daniel McAnaspie at Tolka Valley Park, Blanchardstown on February 26th, 2010.
Michael O'Higgins SC, representing Mr Noone, told the Central Criminal Court on Monday that bail terms had been agreed.
He said there were six terms, including that his client enter his own bond of €5,000, half to be lodged; sign on twice a week at a Garda station; live at an address at Briarwood Avenue, Mulhuddart; not to apply for a passport and surrender any he has; not to contact any witness in the case and to be contactable at a phone number to be supplied to the Garda.
Mr Justice Paul Carney granted bail on those terms. A date for trial will be fixed later.
