Tony Bennett has cancelled his upcoming Dublin concert due to ill-health.

Tony Bennett’s sold out concert at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre this Sunday, has been cancelled.

The 90 year old singer has a flu virus and has been advised by his doctor to rest and recover for the next few days.

Bord Gáis Energy Theatre said in a statement tonight : “Tony sends his deepest regrets to all his fans in Ireland that he will not be to perform for them as he was greatly looking forward to being back in Ireland again where he has received such a warm response from audiences over the years. Refunds are available from point of purchase.”

Aiken promotions apologised for any inconvenience cause.
