The Chief Executive of Aer Lingus, Mr Michael Foley, has been told he is not required to attend for work.

A sub-committee of Aer Lingus Board members met today to discuss his position following a report into sexual harassment allegations made against him.
Mr Foley was advised by the sub-committee that he was not required for work or performance duties pending a decision on his future.
The Aer Lingus Chief Executive denies the complaints and says he will not resign.

Mr Foley's solicitors wrote to Aer Lingus' solicitors last night, reminding them that, under company rules, Mr Foley is entitled to an appeal.
