Pippa Middleton flew into Ireland with her husband James Matthews to attend a friend’s wedding this weekend.
The couple, who wed last May, are staying at the Eccles Hotel in Glengarriff, Co Cork.
The 65-bedroom Eccles Hotel is one of Ireland’s oldest purpose built hotels, opening 275 years ago.
Hotel staff had no idea Ms Middleton would be staying until her arrival on Friday night.
The couple booked in for two nights.
The couple are in Cork for the wedding of Middleton’s best friend Camilla Campion-Awwad (33) and her long-term partner Oliver Jenkinson.
Middleton, the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, became friends with Ms Campion-Awwad while they were both studying English Literature at Edinburgh University.
Middleton wore a Alice Archer-designed teal satin embroidery dress.
Ms Campion-Awaad, who is the daughter of a Jordanian plastic surgeon and his Irish wife, works in investor relations at Investcorp in London.
