FASHION FOCUSED London-based RA Projects reconfigured and refurbished a property owned by fashion designer Roksanda Ilincic, installing a blue steel staircase into its the heart to open up the floor and make the stairs “a central sculptural element”, architect Rashid Ali recently told Dezeen. FLOAT INTO SPACE This design in hip German concept shop Bazar Noir by Berlin-based practice Hidden Fortress literally floats with the final tread set about 10 cm off the ground. The outer part is painted the same matt black as the walls of to make it blend into the backgound. Contrastingly the maritime pine clad steps jump right out and declare their presence.
