France: from €191,000Cottages in a large natural park in Moselle, France, and near to Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany, are for sale on a leaseback arrangement with a guaranteed rental income.

The cottages at Le Domaine du Bois des Harcholins are of contemporary design, by architect Jean de Gastines, and feature wide bay windows that open onto large terraces.

This brings occupants close to the surrounding terrain, whose 1,606 acres contain forests, prairies, ponds, canals, valleys and mountains.

There are 870 cottages in various sizes. Two-bedroom homes, from 52sq m (559sq ft), cost from €191,000. Three-bedrooms cottages, ranging from 71sq m (764sq ft), start at €259,000, and four-bedroom homes, from 90sq m (971sq ft), cost from €302,000.

The development will include an aqua leisure park with a wave pool, slides, waterfalls and wild river, and there will also be an indoor tropical garden and sports centre. There are also plenty of outdoor sports in the area, from horse riding, cycling and fishing to orienteering. The first cottages are due to be completed at the end of 2009.
