Among the art are 12 religious paintings consigned by an unnamed Irish religious institution including the stunning Lot 3, Descent from the Cross an 18th century oil-on-canvas measuring approximately 6ft by 4ft, in a carved giltwood frame by a 'Follower of Pompeo Batoni (Italian)' estimated at €5,000-€7,000 (see photo).
