Students and parents are holding their collective breaths across the country this week in advance of the Leaving Cert results, which will be released on Wednesday.

Ahead of their publication, The Irish Times would like to hear from readers: did your Leaving Certificate results make a difference to your life? Did you get the points for the course or job you wanted, or did you manage to enter via an alternative route? If you were disappointed by your final grades, how did you proceed? Perhaps an unexpected result led you down a different career path that you are glad of now? Do you look back now on the exams and wonder what all the fuss was about, or are you glad you put in the long hours? What advice would you give this year’s Leaving Cert students on the eve of their results?

You can share your views and experiences using this form. Please include a photograph of yourself if you have one, and a few lines about you - your age, where you live now and what you do.

A selection of responses may be published as part of our Leaving Cert results coverage this week. Thank you.
