Do you think you have a healthy lifestyle?
I think so, but we can all imp- rove on certain aspects of our lifestyle and diet. For 2014 my diet is one of the main areas I'm looking to improve. Somebody said to me once if you put dirty petrol in a car it won't run smoothly and diet is the same. Feeding your body with the correct food is half the battle.

How often do you exercise?
Between gym sessions, pitch sessions and games at the weekend, I could be out five to six times a week. All of these sessions are monitored and tailored depending on the time of season and at what stage of competition we are in.

Do you get your five fruit and vegetables a day?

I'd be very good in terms of getting a good variety of
vegetables. Eating fruit is something I'm trying to improve and I try to use fruit as a snack sometimes in between meals as there's no cooking involved and they're easy to eat.

Do you worry?
I do tend to worry about trying to better myself in every aspect of what I do, whether that is in sport or from an educational point of view. I'd naturally be a very competitive person. I think that most sports people have that natural competitiveness inside them and are always looking to improve.

What do you do to relax?
I enjoy reading, it's a good way to wind down and switch off from rushing and racing. I also like going to beaches, doing recovery sessions in the salt water regardless if it's raining or sunny. I find the sea water good for sore muscles and it's extremely peaceful and a good place to gather my thoughts.

What's your worst habit?
I never have my phone out of my hand. If I am in the company of somebody who doesn't know me, I might come across as antisocial or even ignorant – but that's not the case. I think I'm just addicted to Twitter.
