It is day two at the Dublin Horse Show and today is all about the style stakes. Hundreds of women began queuing at 11.30am to register for the Blossom Hill Ladies' Day competition.

The best dressed lady will walk away with an €8,000 shopping trip to New York later this evening.

This year's judging panel includes milliner Philip Treacy, stylist Brendan Courtney and fashion writer and presenter Angela Scanlon.

Earlier today the draw for tomorrow’s Nations’ Cup was held and Team Ireland drew second place to compete, after Germany.

Sweden will be the eighth and final team to jump.

Britain, the Netherlands, Ukraine, the US and France are also competing in the Nations’ Cup.

Team US includes Jessica Springsteen, daughter of singer Bruce Springsteen, who attended the show yesterday.

The competition for the Aga Khan trophy traditionally makes Friday the busiest day at the show, although the sunshine has been bringing out the crowds since early morning today.
