Glittering decade at Loulerie

Louise Stokes of Loulerie, on Dublin's Chatham Street, celebrated 10 years in business this week with a new collection of fine gold jewellery which she sells alongside international brands such as Lulu Frost, Alexis Bittar and Oscar de la Renta. Her own collection is understated and refined, inspired by the rhythmic motion of waves. The gold "wave" hoop earrings are €1,249 and the diamond dragonfly necklace, €1,949. DMcQ

Scarves that sing

The Paris-based Irish chanteuse, Liv Monaghan, founder of Alto Figaro, an independent fashion company reworking vintage finds, has just released her first collection of illustrated silk scarves. It's a collaboration between her and Karen Comerford, the artist responsible for the album covers for Monaghan's band, Bird and Bass. Designed in Florence, inspired by Paris and song, and produced in England, the collection of unisex scarves includes pocket squares, large squares and a long opera scarf. They feature lyrics and images from Monaghan's songs. Crafted from 100 per cent silk crepe, prices are from €30-€78. Find them on etsy.com/shop/altofigaro DMcQ
