A Ukrainian woman was critically injured and fighting for her life in hospital on Friday after being in a road traffic crash in Dublin city centre.
The injured woman, who is in her 60s, was hit by a motorbike as she was crossing Amien St, outside Connolly train station in the north inner city, at about 1.20pm. Two other vehicles on the road at the time were also damaged in the collision.
The area was sealed off and underwent an examination by Garda crash scene investigators.
The injured woman was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital where she has undergone surgery and was in intensive care on Friday night.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, was taken to the same hospital for treatment, though his condition was not believed to be life-threatening.
Garda Headquarters, Phoenix Park, Dublin, confirmed two people had been injured in the crash on Amien St on Friday, adding an investigation was ongoing.
