Two French wines from Dunnes Stores this week. Coteaux du Vendômois is a little-known appellation in the Loire Valley that produces red, white and rosé wines. The whites tend to be crisp and light. The wine below, made from chenin blanc, is a perfect example.
Château Galochet is a classic Bordeaux, made primarily from the merlot grape variety with a little cabernet blended in to give it a bit of structure. If you are a fan of mature Bordeaux this offers great value for money.
