Two men and two women arrested in connection with the killing of a man whose body was buried in a shallow grave in Limerick 12 years ago have been released without charge.
The men, one aged in his 20s and the other in his 30s, and the women, aged in their 20s and 40s, were questioned about the death of Lee Slattery (24), whose remains were discovered near the Delmege House estate at Moyross in May 2010.
Mr Slattery, of Ballynanty in Limerick city, had been shot in the head. His body was discovered by his father after the family was telephoned with information indicating where the remains lay. He had been reported missing by his family several days after he was last seen near his home.
Four people were arrested on Monday in connection with the killing.

The woman in her 20s was released without charge on Tuesday evening. The three other people who had been detained were released on Tuesday night.
“A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions,” a Garda spokesman said.
