The Bosch VR app is a novel way of celebrating the 500th anniversary of the death of trippy Dutch Renaissance artist Hieronymus Bosch.
Bosch is best known for The Garden of Earthly Delights, a painting as strange as it is beautiful.
Fans can immerse themselves in this work of art by popping on Google Cardboard or a VR headset and following a large flying trout as it makes its way through a river in Eden, the first of the three panels within the painting.
Float past strange sights (a fish-duck casually reading a book or a bunch of naked folks holding an enormous strawberry) while soothing music plays. The remaining panels can be unlocked for €3.99.
There's even a limited edition Google Cardboard cover available for iPhone 5, 6, and Android devices. http://www.bdh.net/work/boschvr/
