Sony’s new smartphone, the Xperia Z1, is one of its most durable yet.
Not only is it dustproof and shockproof, but Sony say it will also stand up to a quick dunk in water and come out working. We decided to put it to the test.
Of course, there are limitations. Sony say to avoid salt water (and we’re taking their word for it) so leave it at home if you are planning a last hurrah trip to the beach.
Sand and mud are also out, as are liquid chemicals.
