Huawei’s Watch GT range has been given an update, with the GT 3 joining the line up. Now available, and at the not too expensive price of €229, the watch offers plenty of health and fitness features, long battery life and a new Harmony operating system.

The watch is available in two sizes – 46mm and 42mm – with the smaller size also offering a reduced battery life of up to seven days, compared to the 14 days of normal usage promised by the 46mm version.

But Huawei is going big on its health and fitness features, promising more ccurate heart rate monitoring technology, all-day blood-oxygen monitoring, along with sleep, stress, and menstrual cycle monitoring features. You also get a personal trainer on your wrist, recording and analysing your workout data to adjust the training intensity to improve your fitness or athletic ability.

There is even a new running ability measurement, Running Ability Index (RAI), that uses your historical running heart rate, pace, and other data to analyse your performance
