Seminar to focus on rise of mobile commerce

With an item now purchased on eBay every second via tablet or smartphone, the popularity of mobile shopping is obvious.

According to Connect Telecom director Matthew Brown, mobile commerce has increased by 55 per cent over the past 12 months, presenting new opportunities to Ireland's businesses.

“However, participation in such a rapidly-evolving industry also requires entrepreneurs and innovators, across all sectors, to fully enable the additional benefits arising from the implementation of mobile technology, such as significant increases in cost savings and productivity,” he says.

Connect Telecom in partnership with Blackberry will host a mobile technology seminar in the Herbert Park Hotel tomorrow, on efficient digital strategy and interactive digital experiences.
