O’Brien’s Digicel agrees deal with Manchester City

Company will also be regional communications partner of New York City

Denis O’Brien’s Caribbean telco Digicel has agreed a commercial partnership deal with Manchester City and New York City, the two football clubs owned by a company linked to the government of Abu Dhabi.

Digicel f the clubs for the Caribbean, Central America and the Pacific.

The clubs will provide Digicel with tailored multimedia content, as well as giving coaching sessions for young players in the telco’s markets.

Digicel has previously struck commercial agreements with English Premier League champions Chelsea.
