There has been a change among the officer class at MKC Communications, the Dublin PR firm that acts for blue-chip clients such as Google, Virgin Media, Bewleys and many others.
The firm is co-owned by experienced PR consultants Laurie Mannix, Tim Kinsella and Stephen O'Byrnes, who is also a former Progressive Democrats adviser and handles much of its public affairs work.
Mannix had been running MKC as managing director for the last seven years, but she is stepping back from this role to be replaced by Kinsella.
She will continue with her client work as normal, however.
Kinsella said it is business as usual for MKC, which like many of its industry peers is experiencing a strong pick-up in demand.
As the economy cranks into high-growth mode, there is no shortage of work out there for PR firms, who are all currently arm wrestling for the best staff.
