Vhi is to open a new 5,000 sq ft flagship clinical facility in Dublin early next year.

The five-floor Vhi 360 health centre at Carrickmines will include a large urgent care facility, and services for paediatrics, orthopaedics, physio and out-of-hour dental treatment. It will have onsite access to two x-ray machines, MRI, ultrasound and Dexa equipment.

The centre will team traditional medicine with lifestyle and alternative therapies such as sleep management, physio, psychotherapy, nutrition, resilience, yoga, pilates and meditation. It is designed to offer a holistic approach to treatment, delivering personalised healthcare programmes.

“Vhi has progressively evolved its clinical offerings over the years to include enhanced health and wellbeing services. In the New Year, we will bring this to a new level by introducing a whole new approach to how people’s health and wellbeing is managed.

"Our new flagship facility Vhi 360 at Carrickmines will allow us to deliver this care in a bespoke building with highly-trained clinicians in custom-designed physical spaces," said Declan Moran, chief executive of Vhi Group.

Mr Moran said the new clinic would help to “alleviate pressure on both public and private facilities” at a time when the system is under pressure due to the impact of Covid-19.

“Moving more healthcare to a community setting means that more people can get access to the care they need, when they need it,” he added.

Vhi opened its first 360 healthcare centre in Limerick last year. It also operates Swiftcare clinics, health screenning centres, paediatric clinics and Vhi Hospital@Home services.
