PwC elects Feargal O’Rourke as new senior partner

PwC has announced that Feargal O’Rourke has been elected as the firm’s new senior partner for Ireland to succeed Rónán Murphy.

Mr O’Rourke, whose four-year term begins next July, has been head of the company’s tax practice since 2000, during which time he has worked extensively with multinational firms, many of whom are based on the US west coast.

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, as well as being an associate of the Irish Tax Institute and a graduate of UCD, Mr O'Rourke has been a partner at the professional services firm since 1996.

“I am honoured and delighted to have been elected by my fellow partners to lead the firm for the next four years. I look forward to supporting our clients and ensuring we continue to be the firm of choice for the best people and the best organisations,” he said.
