Kentz wins contract to supply services to Saudi energy plants

Engineering group hired to support construction of Sadara petrochemical plants

Engineering group Kentz has won a lucrative contract to supply support services to several petrochemical plants under construction in Saudi Arabia.

The Sadara Chemical Company is constructing a series of petrochemical plants near the industrial city of Jubail.

It is one of the biggest energy projects in the world.

Kentz said it has been hired to supply manpower, management and skilled labour

The company will also support construction, commissioning and start-up activities.

“Kentz has experienced impressive growth in the past few years in Saudi Arabia, with the award of this contract further strengthening our local presence,” Shane Dooley-Cullinane, Kentz regional managing director.

“Kentz has been working in Saudi Arabia since 1977 and is looking forward to successfully and safely executing these works,” he added.
