Hospitality management firm plans to invest significantly in improving 166-room hotel

Windward Management, the hospitality management company, and Emerald Investment Partners, have announced the completion of the acquisition of the Hilton Dublin Airport Hotel from PJ Walls Holdings Group.

Built in 2005, the hotel primarily serves the Dublin Airport and comprises 166 bedrooms and suites and several function and meeting rooms and a large food and beverage operations.

The hotel will continue to operate as a Hilton Hotel under its existing management and staff. Windward has said it is planning to invest significantly in improving the hotel.

Windward Management is an Irish hospitality company established by Patrick Coyle in 2007 when he led the buyout of the Continental division of the Gresham Hotel Group.

The company currently manages approximately 1,500 hotel rooms in Ireland and Continental Europe.

Emerald Investment Partners is a London-based family investment office, with existing investments in Ireland in Cairn Homes, CareChoice and the Fleet Street Hotel in Dublin.
