Agents CBRE have confirmed the sale of two Dublin bars, The Roundabout in Artane and O’Dwyer’s in Kilmacud.

The Roundabout, sold on behalf of Moran Investments for over the €750,000 guide price, was acquired by well-known northside publicans, the Connellan family.

On the southside,O'Dwyer's pub, sold on the instructions of a KPMG receiver for about €1 million, was bought by a business consortium including publican Bernard Molloy who recently sold Solas Bar on Wexford Street.

John Ryan of CBRE said the two sales confirmed a renewed interest in suburban licensed premises.
