An extensive site close to the sea in north county Dublin has come to the market seeking €900,000, offering investors the potential to acquire a strategic land holding in a key area.

The site extends to about 13.37 hectares (33 acres), and is located in the village of Loughshinny. The land is currently zoned as “High Amenity” under the Fingal County Development Plan 2017–2023, and offers the opportunity for use for agricultural purposes, or to be acquired with an eye to its future potential. It is being brought to the open market by way of private treaty by CBRE.

Located to the east of the Skerries Road, the site abuts the Irish Sea, merging with Loughshinny Beach, and is accessed from the Loughshinny Park Road. The land is well connected to the nearby larger towns of Rush, Skerries and Lusk, all within a 10 minute drive of the site, and is about 20 minutes from the M1, and about 40 minutes from Dublin city centre.

Nearby amenities include The Yacht Bar, Loughshinny Residential Nursing Home and St Brendan’s National School, as well as those of the neighbouring towns.

Peter Garrigan of CBRE's development land division says: "The subject property offers interested parties the opportunity to acquire a strategic land holding in a key growth area. While some parties may be interested in farming the lands, others may take a longer-term view on this extensive land holding."
