A strategic site at the Ballymun Road entrance to the Northwood Business Campus in Santry, Dublin 9 is fresh to the market this week for more than €3 million through Knight Frank.

The site extends to 3.84 acres and is zoned Objective ME (Metro Economic Corridor) to facilitate “high density mixed-use employment generating activity and commercial development, and support the provision of an appropriate quantum of residential development” under the Fingal Development Plan 2017-2023.

A number of planning permissions were previously granted for the site but these have all since lapsed.

The site is 600m from Junction 4 of the M50 and 200m from a planned Metro North stop. It offers easy access to Dublin Airport, the Port Tunnel and DCU.

It also has 200m of road frontage to the Northwood campus and another 100m to Northwood Crescent to the east.

The 220-acre Northwood campus includes the four-star Crowne Plaza Hotel, Ben Dunne Fitness Centre, McDonald's and a range of other high-profile retailers combined with extensive residential schemes in an attractive parkland setting.

Subject to planning permission, the site could suit offices, residential, student accommodation and retail – or a combination of all four.
