Mark Reynolds moves into deputy MD slot at Savills Ireland

Job will include supporting MD Angus Potterton, who is taking wider role with company

Mark Reynolds has been appointed deputy managing director at Savills Ireland as current MD Angus Potterton is assuming a greater role with the Savills European board and wider business throughout Europe.

Mr Reynolds has headed the agency’s development and consultancy division for the past 12 years and spent eight years prior to that in the retail, receiverships and consultancy areas of the business.

His new role will involve supporting Mr Potterton at management level on a day-to-day basis, helping to run the Irish business and continuing to lead the development and consultancy division.

Mr Reynolds specialises in evaluating and implementing proposals which add value to large mixed-use property portfolios.

He was recently involved with the redevelopment of the Bolands Quay scheme in the south docklands which is set for completion later this year.

His other recent projects include the sale of a large site on RTÉ's Montrose campus for more than €107 million, and the Project Trinity sale of 2.83 hectares in Dublin 4, which had permission for 490 apartments, for more than €182 million.

Mr Reynolds holds a BSc in Property Economics from DIT Bolton Street and is a member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland and of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
