Limerick’s highly successful Crescent Shopping Centre looks set to get a major boost with the opening of three new top-rated fashion outlets: Gap, Superdry and Selected.
The international traders will be located in the city mall following the completion of extensive refurbishment works at a cost of about €15 million. Zone A rents in the Limerick centre range from €150 to €160 per square foot.
Gap has already opened in the largest of the three new stores, with a sizeable floor area of 668.98sq m (7,200sq ft) to cater for men, women and children. The new Crescent outlet is the US clothing company’s fifth Irish store. Three of the others are in Dublin and the fourth is in Cork.
Superdry, a vintage American- and Japanese-inspired clothing brand with more than 400 stores in 46 countries, has rented a 373sq m (4,026sq ft) outlet in the Crescent – its second in Munster after one in Patrick Street in Cork.
Selected, part of the Danish Bestseller Group, plans to cater to both men’s and women’s fashions when it fits out its new 208.5sq m (2,245 sq ft) Limerick store – its sixth in Ireland
Joint letting agents Cushman & Wakefield and JLL plan to announce further trading opportunities at the Crescent in the near future.
