IPUT launches next phase at Aerodrome Business Park

Unit Q will provide 160,000sq ft of logistics space when completed in July

Iput, the Irish property investment group and developer, is looking for a tenant for a new logistics facility at Aerodrome Business Park in southwest Dublin.

The 160,000sq ft logistics facility at Unit Q will be completed in July, and follows the successful letting of Unit G, a 120,000sq ft facility, to Life Style Sports.

The latest facility at Aerodrome is part of IPUT’s pipeline of 1.4m sq ft of logistics assets, with a focus on sustainable real estate/logistics.

Unit Q will have 160,000sq ft of logistics space, with ancillary offices delivered to the highest sustainability standards in the market: LEED Gold, BREEAM Excellent and a BER A3 rating.

Philip Harvey of Harvey has been appointed as leasing agent for Unit Q.

Michael Clarke, IPUT real estate head of investment, said: "We are seeing increasing occupier demand for high quality logistics facilities which meet their requirement to reduce carbon emissions, while also offering a work environment focused on employee wellbeing."

IPUT is the largest owner of offices and logistics assets in Dublin, and currently has a portfolio of about 2.5m sq ft of logistics assets, the largest portfolio of prime logistics assets in Ireland. IPUT has 870,000sq ft of logistics space under development at Aerodrome Business Park, and at Quantum Distribution Park at Kilshane Cross.

IPUT also has the potential to add a further 600,000sq ft of space at Nexus Distribution Park, increasing the total logistics portfolio to approximately 4m sq ft.
