Joint agents Jones Lang LaSalle and Douglas Newman Good say they have already had several inquiries about the A|wear store in Galway even before they launch a marketing campaign to find a replacement tenant.

The agents are inviting rental offers in excess of €240,000 for the store which has an overall floor area of 451sq m (4,854sq ft) over two levels at Edward Square in the city centre.

As one of the more successful stores operated by A|wear, the Galway premises was one of a small number of outlets retained by liquidators Kavanagh Fennell to help clear unsold stock.

With a limited supply of city centre stores with large floor plates in Galway city, the A|wear shop will be of interest to a range of Irish and overseas traders still unrepresented in the city.
