Brooks and Co, a curiosity shop on Lower Baggot Street, is having a "retirement sale" to clear stock before it closes it doors on Saturday, August 1st. Proprietor Patrick Ryan is to retire after 40 years.

Originally a pharmacy dating from the 1850s, Brooks has a ground floor retail area of 69sq m with a further 51sq m in retail use on the first floor. There is ancillary storage in the basement and second floor.

Emma Coffey of Lisney, who is handling the reletting of the building, said there was strong interest in Brooks which was on a particularly busy stretch of Lower Baggot Street.
