Mark Headon has joined Avison Young, the independent property adviser, as divisional director in agency, focusing on offices.

In his new role with Avison Young, which rebranded from GVA Donal O Buachalla last September, Mr Headon will be responsible for both landlord and tenant mandates and will help to drive the further growth of the firm’s occupier services and office leasing businesses. Mr Headon previously worked with Knight Frank.

Working with long-standing national clients, Mr Headon will also deal with the many international Avison Young clients locating and investing in Dublin.

Fergal Burke, principal and managing director of Avison Young, said: "We are genuinely excited to welcome Mark to the team. He brings a breadth of experience in the Dublin office market and he is known and respected for his knowledge, expertise and commercial advice, at a time when such advice was never more valued by occupier or landlord clients.
