One More Thing:Some food for thought last Tuesday from Bloxham Stockbrokers for Kerry Group chief-executive-in-waiting Stan McCarthy, who will take the reins from Hugh Friel at the end of the year.

In its morning meeting note to clients, the independent stockbroker said the consumer food group's interim results were encouraging, but it had a cut at the dull presentation of the numbers.

"We are still puzzled why Kerry continues to produce one of the most mundane and wordy layouts of any Irish plc for its results," the Bloxham note stated.

"It should be easier for a reader to extract the key message, but the statement is drab and doesn't help those who are unfamiliar with the company.

"For a company with such marketing expertise, they could probably divert a bit to the [ investor relations] front."

Ouch.
