Abrakebabra Investments Limited (AIL), the fast-food franchise group, which is led by businessmen Graeme Beere and David Zebedee, is to create 300 jobs over the next three years.

The group, whose brands include Abrakebabra, Bagel Factory and O’Brien’s Sandwich Cafe, made the announcement as it opened its 130th outlet in Co Kildare.

AIL, which was named Franchisor of the Year 2016, said the company is in expansion mode, with plans to open a further 30 new stores nationwide. It also has a concession agreement with Maxol.

“We are continually looking at new ways of bringing our food offer to the Irish public. Over the next three years, we estimate that we will be able to create 300 new jobs as we roll out in new locations across the country,” said Mr Zebedee.
