The challenge of amusing the kids

Keeping the kids amused during the long summer holidays can challenge even the most imaginative parent. But if you live in the south Dublin area the Dun Laoghaire Youth Information Centre may be able to provide you with some bright ideas. Its Ideas for the summer exhibition, now on, covers all age groups and subjects.

For younger children there are summer camps covering sports, computers and arts and crafts while older teenagers can find out about improving their computer or keyboard skills, how to prepare a CV or how to go about getting a summer job (paid or voluntary) in the area.

The Dun Laoghaire Youth Information Centre is in the Bell Tower, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire. Telephone (01) 2809363 or e-mail yicdlys@iol.ie
