WOMEN'S HOCKEY:AN ULSTER club prevailed again at the National Indoor Trophy at the Basketball Arena in Tallaght yesterday, Ards emulating Armagh's 2011 success with a 3-2 golden goal victory over Hermes.

Hermes had led twice in the final, but Ards fought back each time, Katy Bennett’s second goal of the game proving decisive.

Earlier in the day Ards had been surprise winners over Railway Union in the semi-finals, winning 3-2, while Hermes beat Glenanne on penalty strokes after a 4-4 draw.
