Racing News: Hold That Tiger is on track for the Newmarket 2,000 Guineas after pleasing Michael Kinane and Aidan O'Brien in a piece of work after racing at the Curragh yesterday.

The Grand Criterium winner and Breeders' Cup third galloped a mile behind his four-year-old stable mate Twentytwoandchange and won the gallop by a couple of lengths.

"He needed to be away and he will need more work but he will probably go for the Guineas without a run before it.

"It's very hard to rule anything out and he is also a possible for the Kentucky Derby but you would have to say the Guineas is more realistic at the moment.

"He is a huge, strong horse naturally and will come on for that but Michael was happy with him," said O'Brien.

The trainer also said Yesterday could run in the 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket after she worked satisfactorily over a mile with In The Limelight.

Another O'Brien star to work was Delacroix who galloped with the older horse Shoal Creek.

Super Celebre looked to have inherited at least some of his sire's ability when opening his three-year-old account in the Prix Noailles at Longchamp yesterday. The son of Peintre Celebre came with a winning run to beat Coroner by two and a half lengths in the Group Two event.
