Two vicious, mass brawls marred the U19 Milk Cup game between Northern Ireland and Mexico at the Coleraine Showgrounds on last night.

Mexico's Victor Guzman had struck just after the half-time break, but Northern Ireland's Mikhail Kennedy and Sean Mullan later put the hosts in the lead.

The first scuffle occured at a corner in the 57th minute which saw three, players, Mexico's Raul Monala Gudino and Carlos Arreola and the Robbie McDaid from the home side given red cards for violent conduct.

In the final minute of the game Kevin Gutierrez was sent off for kicking out. The result stood.
