Former Republic of Ireland international Richard Dunne is on the look out for a new club after the 35-year-old defender was one of six players let go by Queens Park Rangers following their relegation from the Premier League.

Former Bohemians goalkeeper Brian Murphy, Rio Ferdinand, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Joey Barton and Bobby Zamora will also depart when their contracts expire on June 30th.

Dunne played 28 times for the club this season, while Murphy, who moved to QPR from Ipswich in August 2011 initially as understudy to Paddy Kenny, did not appear this season. The 32-year-old made six appearances for the club in total.

QPR announced that Clint Hill and Alejandro Faurlin will be offered new deals. In addition, Karl Henry has until June 30th to exercise his contractual option for a further year.
