Neil Doyle, Shelbourne FC co-owner, will temporarily oversee club operations following the departure of chief executive Barry Mocke.
Last year, Doyle and his brother Cathal are believed to have invested €1 million in the League of Ireland champions after the club cut ties with Turkish businessman Acun Ilıcalı's multi-club model which included Hull City.
Doyle previously worked as an analyst for Deloitte before forming tech company Bedford Consulting in 2008.
“Barry joined the club in 2023 and has been a pivotal figure in the development of the club in this time,” a Shelbourne statement said.
“The club enjoyed great achievements both on and off the pitch during his tenure. The club extends its sincere gratitude to Barry for his hard work and dedication and wish him all the very best in the next stage of his career.
“Neil Doyle, Shelbourne co-owner, will oversee club operations in the short term pending an announcement of a new CEO.”
